Platt & Associates personnel determine compliance with the NHTSA recognized administrative procedures required of law
enforcement officers that administer the standardized field sobriety tests (SFST's) and other drug evaluations.
Platt & Associates creates technical reports from documents, video reviews and if necessary on scene investigations then offers
expert witness testimony regarding the evidential facts of the case. These technical assessments serve as a foundation for
building and supporting a case that is created on the compliance standards set forth by the NHTSA and the International
Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).
Platt & Associates also provide a variety of NHTSA approved training courses to legal professionals. These professional
development training courses include but are not limited to the NHTSA SFST Practitioner Course (24 hours), the NHTSA SFST
Instructor Course (50 hour), and a three day overview of the NHTSA approved Drug Evaluation and Classification Program (24
hours).
